About Susan
Back in 2009, Susan Graff, owner of Handsome Hound Dog Treats, began baking homemade dog and cat treats for friends and clients while running her pet sitting business, A Whole Lotta Love Dog Walking and Pet Service.
During the 2020 pandemic, what started as a hobby turned into a meaningful fundraiser—raising over $6,000 to help financially support her team of employees.
In 2021, Susan shifted her focus entirely to baking and officially launched Handsome Hound Dog Treats, offering wholesome, human-grade treats to pets in Durham, NC and beyond.
Giving back remains at the heart of the business. Ten percent of all proceeds are donated to local animal rescue organizations.
Susan currently resides in Durham, North Carolina with her husband and three dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis and spending quality time with her beloved “furbabies.”
About Courtney
Courtney and Susan met playing tennis years back and became friends. When Susan posted that she was looking for a delivery driver, Courtney jumped at the chance to have a side gig while also toting around her kiddo on their local adventures. Soon though, Courtney took on a more active role in helping Susan behind the scenes. She helps to manage the website, manage client relationships, as well as scheduling deliveries. Every now and then, Courtney manages to take a goofy picture of her delivering and you might even see her three goofy doggos modeling for HHDT.
